Last minute! - tilda with beads

Hi,

Well, right at the last minute I have managed to complete my card for this weeks Tilda and Co. challenge which was 'beads' Thought I better make a card as it was my suggestion...be rude not to!

I have used beads as 'pebbles' on the sand and a bigger one for the centre of the flower.

Tilda coloured with watercoloour pencils, pp by 'I don't know!!' and I also used some lovely handmade paper, PM bloom and beads from the local market.
Thanks for looking, have a great bank holiday

Cute Card Thursday

Hi,

Here is my card for this weeks CCT challenge which again was a fabulous sketch by Katharina . I don't seem to have been able to join in with any CCT challenges lately, just haven't had the right stamps, so couldn't pass up this opportunity. Now, I dont have any oval punches or nesties or anything like that, so had to cut the image 'freehand' - don't think my lines look too wobbly!lol.

The Martha image was sent to me in a swap with Diane , coloured with watercolour pencils, pp by Sharon Ann, sentiment by Dovecraft, ribbon and brads from stash.

Thanks for looking, have a great day!

PTW challenge

Hi,

Here I am back again as promised with my card for this weeks PTW challenge, well who can resist a sketch by the lovely Katharina

I used a lovely Sarah Kay image which I was sent as part of my prize for my suggestions over on Tilda and Friends (hope your having fun with 'beads'!) and was really scared to use it in case I messed up (cos I couldn't restamp!) but I think it turned out really good. The colouring inspiration is from a card which Marlene did on her blog, thanks Marlene.

Coloured with watercolour pens and pencils, the pp is K & Co and is beatifully patterned but somehow I mangaged to cut it so that when all the other bits were added it got covered up doh! but I think you can just see a little bit peeking through. Flowers and brads from stash

Thanks for looking, have a great day, leave a comment I love it

Friday Sketchers

Hi,

Just a quick post tonight to add my card for this weeks Friday Sketchers which this week was a sketch by the very talented Beatrix . I actually found the sketch quite tricky and it took me ages to get it right (maybe something to do with not feeling 100%) but am really happy with the results.

I made it for my best friends MIL who is 60 on saturday and loves to garden, I think she will like it.

Image coloured with a mix of watercolour pens and pencils, pp by Stacyclaire Boyd, all other things from stash.
Thanks for looking

Decoupage Tilda

Hi,

Sorry about the lack of posting for a few days, but my mum came to visit on Tuesday and had an accident which required hospital treatment, so I have been busy taking care of her.

I really wanted to try the Tilda and Co. challenge this week which was to 3D Tilda and this is what I came up with.
I paper pieced the dress and coloured with watercolour pens and then layered up the umberella, hair and boots. I love the way the colours are fresh even though it's 'raining', pp is Michele Ackerman, ribbon, brads and flower from stash.

Hope to be back soon with another card, have a nice day

Claudia's goodie bag

Hi,

I had a try at making the goodie bag which the very talented claudia has very kindly posted as a tutorial on her blog, to be in with a chance of winning some awsome blog candy and this is what I came up with.

I'm not completely happy with the results, the paper I used is a bit too waoh!!! , but as someone who is new to card making it was really good to try something different and I will definately try again with some more 'relaxed' paper.

The whipper snapper image was sent to me by the lovely mandy who sent me some images to help me along (thankyou Mandy) coloured with watercolour pens and pencils, paper by StacyClaire Boyd.

Thanks for stopping by, have a nice day, now just got to catch up with all the other challenges lol!
