Sketch Saturday #58 - DT week

Morning all and a happy Saturday to you all. Today is the turn of one of the DT members to design the sketch and this week its.....me!!!

To all our American visitors....happy 4th of July!!!........and to keep to the celebrations of the day, you have the extra option of an American theme...so 'red, white and blue' or stars and stripes'...you get the idea.

Wow, where did that week go....that's the thing when the kids are off school, the time just flies by......but as it's that time again it can only be another fabulous challenge on Sketch Saturday and another awesome sketch by Jo.

Ladybug Friends Review

Ladybug Friends

It's almost time for some yummy scrummy new releases from ATS and as is the norm, we will be previewing these new stamps over the next few days

Today, I have to show you my card using the fab new Ladybug Friends set by Cookie Crumbs.
Over on the blog , you can check out some awesome cards from the rest of the DT and you also have a chance to win your very own set!!!

For my card, I used some fabulous K & Co paper which is covered in ladybirds and snails.....but somehow manged to cover them all up...doh!!!............I think you can just about see them, if you really search lol!!

ATS DT Challenge #42 - White on white

Here is the challenge this week on ATS 'White on White'....only the focal image can be colour.

Well to say this was difficult for me is a bit of an understatement.....I don't have any embossing folders...so mine is well and truly CAS lol!!

The other members of the DT however have managed to create some really beautiful samples, so hop on over to the blog and take a look at how it should be done!!

Not many details to give.....all images and sentiments from ATS , coloured with promarkers and a bit of paper piecing, a few brads and a bit of coloured CS.

Huge thanks to everyone for your kind comments about the job situation, well I went for an interview on Monday for a different position in the same store and I found out yesterday I got it...yeah!!!.....you can all uncross your fingers now lol!!!. It does mean I have to go back to working every evening, but ya gotta take what you can get at the moment, so my posting may drop off a little.......not that you'll be able to tell lol!!!!

Truly Scrumptious

Hi everyone, really quick post from me as I have to pick up my little girl in 6 minutes.....yikes!...but had to get my card on for this weeks fab challenge at Truly Scrumptious . The sketch has been up for 2 weeks and as normal I'm last minute...the challenge ends today!!!

I've combined this cute image Mushroom Friends with some fab paper which is covered in mushrooms...I think you can just about see it!
