Ismaki challenge #26

Hi everyone,

Here is the card I have made for this weeks ismaki challenge which was another wonderful sketch by the wonderfully talented Beatrix.

My card looks simple compared to all the fabulous creations on the blog, but I definately followed the sketch!......I think it's because I didn't use any patterned paper on the background, didn't want to overdo it for a boy's card! Anyway I am really pleased with how it turned out.
  • image: High Hopes
  • paper: bazzill, basic grey
  • medium: watercolour pens
  • sentiment: PM rub-on
  • flowers and brads from stash

Feel free to leave a comment, have a super day

Ismaki challenge #25

Hi Everyone,

Here is my card for this week's ismaki challenge which was a sketch by the wonderfully talented Malin from Norway. The sketch looked a bit tricky at first but when I got all the bits together is was actually quite simple and I think it looks really effective.

Papilio image (isn't she the cutest!) sent to me by Nikki , thankyou Nikki, coloured with watercolour pens, pp by basic grey, sentiment by studio G, flowers, brads and buttons from stash.
Have a nice day

Ismaki challenge #23

Hi,

Here is my entry for this weeks ismaki challenge which this week was another fabulous sketch by Beatrix. So time for more wobbly lines as I attempt to cut a circle freehand, I think I got away with it cos the paper is so dark you cant really see lol!

Decided to use a Penny Black image which I haven't used for a while, coloured with watercolour pencils and paper pieced the present. pp I think is K &Co, not sure, ribbon, brads and flowers from stash.

Have a super day
