Sarah Kay

Hi everyone,

And a very good morning to you all. I have made this card as my entry to Sarah Kay challenge, which was to use a fabulous sketch. The DT's cards were awesome, you couldn't help but be inspired.....I will definately use it again.

So, I decided to keep it simple and keep the same colours throughout and I think it turned out just as I imagined (shock horror!).
Take a look at the glittery ribbon I found at the local market....isn't it just fabulous!!!!
Again I've gone with some green.....just can't get enough of it lately, don't know why, but I want to use it on all my cards lol!!, only problem now is I've used up all my green flowers, so rummaging around to find other things to match!!

Here are the details
  • Image: Sarah Kay
  • Medium: Promarkers
  • Paper: Craft Creations and K&Co
  • Ribbon, flowers and brads from stash

Thanks for stopping by, have a fab day

Sarah Kay Sketch Challenge and blog candy

Morning everyone,
Here is my card for this weeks Sarah Kay challenge which was to use a fabulous sketch. There are so many different variations of this card on the blog and the DT work is awesome, you should definatley check it out.
Here are the details of the card:
  • Image: Sarah Kay
  • Medium: Watercolour pencils
  • Paper: Sharon Ann TIMELESS Collection
  • Ribbon. flowers. brads and rub on from stash

Not sure about this one, the image is too 'white' against the dark colour papers, but I had a great time making the card anyway.

Also, my lovely friend Camilla is offering Sarah Kay blog candy, how fabulous is that. She is an extremely talented and generous lady and you should hop over now to her awesome blog and enter the candy draw and take the time to look at all her wonderful creations.....the details on her cards are amazing!

Hope you have a lovely day, thanks for stopping by

Challenge catch-up

Evening everyone,

Yet again I'm playing challenge catch-up, so many wonderful blogs I just don't seem to have the time to do them all

This card I have made for Sarah Kay where you had to use 3 buttons and 3 jewels combined with PTW which was yet another fabulous sketch by the gorgeously talented Katharina
Here are the details
  • Image: Sarah Kay from my lovely friend Mandy
  • Medium: Watercolour pens
  • Paper: StacyClaire Boyd
  • Flowers, buttons, and gems from my stash
The photo is a bit rubbish as I didn't get to take it until 7pm and I think I over did the photo editing in an attempt to get it to look ok, I'll try to take another tomorrow, but you get the idea

Thanks for stopping by, feel free to leave a comment, I love it when you do

Sarah Kay Challenge

Hi everyone,

Here is my card for this weeks Sarah Kay challenge 2, which was to use a wonderful sketch.

This is a new challenge blog and the DT's work was so inspirational, that I had to give it a go. Now, I don't have any Sarah Kay stamps and this is the only image I had in my collection, so this may be my one and only entry! (or maybe I'm going to admit that I really do have to have some of these cuties lol!)

Anyway, the photo isn't very good, the blues and greens match a bit more IRL, but you get the idea...

  • Medium: Watercolour pencils
  • Paper: Crate Paper
  • Brads, flowers and ribbon fom stash

Have a super day, thanks for stopping by
