Girls just wanna have fun!

Hi,

This is my entry for CCT which this week was a female theme. Once again I'm at the last minute with the challenges, it's tuesday already and I'm still doing last thursday lol!

The image was one I received from annie and the sketch is based on one from katharina which she very kindly puts on her blog for you to use if you wish. I've changed it round a bit, and moved the sentiment, cos the image was too big.

Tilda watercoloured with Marvy pens, don't know what the paper is! ribbons and brads from stash.
Have a nice day

Going Dotty...

Hi,

This is my entry for tilda and friends ATC challenge which this week was 'going dotty'. I know it's a bit late, but all the dotty paper I wanted to use was a bit too 'spotty'...if you get my drift. Tilda coloured with watercolour pencils, paper pieced the dress and added some dots around the edge with a white gel pen, some ribbon and some 'balloons'.

Thanks for looking, have a nice day.

Ismaki challenge #16

Hi,

Two posts in one day....I always seem to be a day or two behind on the challenges, so stayed up late last night to try and catch up. Sketches...I love em! they usually seem so straight forward and then when I sit down to make I still seem to spend a looong (long!) time trying to get the papers in the right order,

Anyway this is my entry for the ismaki challenge set by Beatrix to use 4 coordinating patterned papers.

Tilda is an image I received again from the ladies at the ATC blog, coloured with watercolour pencils, pp by basic grey, flowers, brads and ribbon from stash.
The sentiment reads 'pretty dresses, little curls, oh thank heaven for little girls'

Thanks for looking, feel free to leave a comment, I love it when you do!

PTW challenge

Hi,

This is my entry for papertakeweekly challenge to use a wonderful sketch by Katherina. My mum, very kindly sent me some pp yesterday from the craft shop where she lives and I wanted to use it straight a way...thanks mum!

The Tilda is an image I received from a friend, coloured with watercolour pencils (I really would have loved to paper piece the dress.. but as it was already stamped I had to colour), pp is 'sharon ann'-timeless collection, ribbon and brads from my win at Tilda & Friends ATC (thanks ladies x)
Thanks for taking the time to stop by

Cute Card Thursday

Hi,

These are a couple of cards which I had to make for my mum's friend's twin sons who are...have you guessed...40! Mum wanted something simple and Scottish (as the are both from Scotland), because she doesn't know them that well.

Anyway it gave me a chance to use Hamish which I won on a previous CCT challenge. I know he might be a bit 'cute' for somone whose 40 but I think they'll appreciate the birthday wish non the less.

I would also like to enter them for this weeks CCTchallenge as it is a masculine theme. I will probably have another go later in the week at something a bit more involved.

Well, got housework to do, thanks for stopping by

Stitch me up

Hi,

This is my entry for Tilda and Co Challenge blog which this week had the theme of stitching.

Well I didn't really know anything about stitching so just added some faux stitching which I just guessed how to do (don't know if it looks ok or not!), I cut Tilda leaving a small border around the outside for definition, coloured her with watercolour pencils and mounted her on 3d foam pads. The 'greens' do match really well but for some reason the pp is coming out a bit yellow. Other materials used - bazzill card, pp by StacyClaireBoyd, PM flowers, brads and ribbon from stash.
Thanks for popping in, have a great day

Snow

Hi,

Woke up this morning to snow (well a couple of centimetres!) so was out at 9am trying to make a snowman for the kids. This is a picture of how he looked then, he's now lost his nose and one of his eyes (that pesky sunshine!) As you can see we used up all the snow in the garden. My daughter was really pleased and even posed for a photo whilst being bombarded with snowballs from my son.

Anyway off to do some shopping, check back later

This is my entry for http://tildaandfriends.blogspot.com/ and their ATC challenge, which this week was to use 'check'. This is my first ever ATC, I didn't really know what I was doing but I think it turned out ok. It had to be pink (again!) cos that's the only checked paper I had.

Muddy Tilda

Hi,

This is my entry for the Tilda & Co challenge where you had to mix and match magnolia stamps. I used the wellies from Tilda with heart dress and put them onto baking Tilda, then I tried to 'muddy' her up to make her look like she had been playing in the garden making mud cakes!

The sentiment I added for those of you who don't know means 'dont worry...everything will be ok'.
Hope you like it, have a fabby day
